If you installed "Program Installation Monitor" on your C: drive,
You may get an error when Regshot tries to save the "HIV" file or
the "Compare" file. This may be because you do not have complete
write access to the C: drive. YOu can determine this by looking
at the C: drive Properties/Security. If you don't have write access,
you may not have been able to unzip "Primo.zip" to the C: drive,
or add files to it. To remedy this, you can take control of the C:
drive by giving yourself full access, or try moving the "Installed"
folder to your Documents folder or another partition.
Moving the "Installed" folder worked for one user.

You can now stop regshot. Press any key on the keyboard to
interrupt it and cancel it.

I now have a copy of Visual Studio 2010 that will create a
64-bit program. I used the beta version of Regshot 1.9.1
and incorporated many of my changes in to it to create a
new version that works with my other PRIMO programs.
It runs slower than the 32-bit version, but it also produces
a lot more output, especially registry entries.
I also kept the name "REGSHOT" rather than changing it to Primo.
The '.INI" file is called "regshot.ini". If you have made changes
to your "primo.ini", make a copy and call it "regshot.ini".
I have removed the "Vista" section in "regshot.ini" so compare
the included one to yours.
I have also removed the "not_monitored_list.txt" function,
as even I never used it.

If you want to try it and read all about it, you can get Regshot 1.9.1
at "http://sourceforge.net/projects/regshot/files/regshot/1.9.1-beta/"

February 12, 2014..

Since my PRIMO is a 32-bit program, if you have a 64-bit system, it may
not be as accurate as a 64-bit version. Since my C++ 6.0 is only a 32-bit
compiler, I cannot make a 64-bit version. I have tried a couple of the free
C++ 2010 compilers from Microsoft, but have run in to a lot of problems,
so I will not be able to make a 64-bit version for the forseeable future.
So, I modified CHKUNIN to accept the .TXT file created by Regshot 1.9.0,
which has a 64-bit version, but you must use the ANSI version of CHKUNIN
to work. Regshot 1.9.0 doesn't have all the bells and whistles I put in to
PRIMO when I created it using Regshot 1.8, but it does work. Of course, you
must create the .TXT output file.
Also, if you have modified the "primo.ini" for Primo, you can use it
with Regshot 1.9.0 and most of it will work. Rename it to "regshot.ini".

If you want to try it and read all about it, you can get Regshot 1.9.0
at "http://sourceforge.net/projects/regshot/files/regshot/1.9.0/"

I have taken a look at the source code for Regshot 1.9.0, but at this point,
I have no plans to create PRIMO 1.9.0.
